Lakeland Health has recently welcomed several new physicians to its staff, who will work out of several of the healthcare network’s facilities.

Brian Doyle has joined the medical staff of Edgewater Family Health, joining Sigita Alimenti and Matthew Campbell.

Before coming to Lakeland, Dr. Doyle worked as an attending physician for the United States Air Force at Minot Air Force Base, located in North Dakota. Doyle completed his family medicine residency at Memorial Hospital of South Bend in 2014.

He earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine, located in Detroit.

“The goal of my practice is to help patients reach their health goals by providing quality care focused on making evidence-based interventions accessible, reasonable, and desirable for patients,” Doyle said. “I enjoy getting to know individuals and families while seeing the positive changes in their lives as a result of our collective efforts.”

Doyle is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Association and the Michigan Academy of Family Physicians. His medical interests include diabetes and cardiovascular disease prevention.

Plastics, reconstructive and hand surgeon Ginard Henry has joined the medical staff at Stonegate Plastic Surgery. Dr. Henry will practice alongside Karen Powers, at the practice, located at 3901 Stonegate Park, Suite 300, in St. Joseph.

Dr. Henry is board-certified in plastic and reconstructive surgery as well as certified in a subspecialty of surgery of the hand. He completed a hand and microsurgery fellowship in San Antonio, Texas, and received his medical degree with honors from the University of California San Francisco.

In 2013, he was awarded the University of Chicago Medicine Section of Plastic Surgery Robert Parsons Teaching Award for his work as an assistant professor at the University of Chicago.

His work and expertise has also been published in several journals, books, online and magazine articles.

Henry is an active member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Reconstructive Microsurgeons.

New wound care physician Krista Schulte will be seeing patients at the Lakeland Center for Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine, located at 42 N. St. Joseph Ave., Niles.

Recently, Schulte earned a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville, Indiana. She is also a graduate from the Cleveland Clinic Wound Ostomy Continence training program and holds certifications both as a certified wound ostomy continence nurse as well as a certified foot and nail care nurse.
