This week’s Crime of the Week comes from the files of the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department.
At about 12:47 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016, the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department was called to the 2500 block of Alma Drive in Sodus Township because of an alleged home invasion. Two unknown suspects knocked on the door of a home then forced their way into the residence and robbed the homeowner of money at gunpoint. The suspects then ran away on foot to a vehicle and left the area.
The first suspect is described as a light-skinned black male, between 30 and 35 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build and possibly wearing a brown jacket.
The second subject is described as a black male, between 30 and 35 years old, 6 feet 1 inch tall with a medium build, wearing dark clothing, a ski mask, and a knit hat.
