ROSEMONT, Illinois — With a victory over the weekend, Penn State earned its first Big Ten Football Championship Game berth and a share of the East Division title, and will meet Wisconsin Saturday, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

The Badgers, who clinched a title game berth on Friday, were also victorious on Saturday and were outright West Division champions.

The sixth annual Big Ten Football Championship Game is scheduled to kick off at 8:17 p.m. The game will be broadcast nationally on FOX and Compass Media Networks.

The winner will earn the Amos Alonzo Stagg Championship Trophy and a chance to play in one of the six bowls that comprise the College Football Playoff, including the Rose Bowl Game.

Penn State will make its first championship game appearance, while Wisconsin earned championship game berths in 2011, 2012 and 2014. The Nittany Lions and Badgers last met on Nov. 30, 2013, with Penn State claiming a 31-24 victory.

Penn State defeated Michigan State Saturday to end the regular season at 10-2 overall and 8-1 in the Big Ten. The Nittany Lions shared the East Division title with Ohio State.

However, Penn State earned the championship game berth due to its head-to-head victory over the Buckeyes on Oct. 22.

Wisconsin picked up a victory over Minnesota on Saturday to conclude a 10-2 regular season, including a 7-2 mark in Big Ten play. The Badgers secured their third division title and first since 2014.

Ticket blocks are being held for both Penn State and Wisconsin will be sold through university ticket offices. Those interested in VIP Packages can purchased at Shoowin.com.
