Dowagiac senior Taylor Hulett will continue her academic and athlete career at Lansing Community College.

The softball standout signed her national letter of intent with LCC Nov. 3.

Hulett, who was All-Wolverine Conference, all-district and all-region in Division 2, hit .492 with four home runs and 49 RBIs during the regular season.

She was 20-6 in the circle with an ERA of 1.7. She struck out 180 in 135 innings.

“I really liked the coaching staff and overall I think it is a really good opportunity for me,” Hulett said.

Hulett will study criminal justice at LCC.

She was also looking at Kellogg Community College, Olivet College and Adrian College.

“Lansing was just a better fit for me overall,” Hulett said.
