Anderson will help bring jobs back to county

As a Dowagiac native, I keep up to date on the goings on back home and over the last several years I have seen stagnation when it comes to smart and good paying jobs for Cass County residents.

I want to voice my support for Leon Anderson Jr.’s bid for election to the Board of Commissioners in District 7, because I feel he has what it takes to think outside the box and work for the betterment of all the residents of the county.

I have known the Anderson family for nearly 30 years. I was in the same grade as Tim and also became fast friends with Joshua and Dale. They are my link to the area, and I make it a point to visit them in Dowagiac the few times a year I return to Michiana.

All of us boys obtained a good education in the Dowagiac Schools to where we were able to go off to college. But, when it was time to graduate and enter the workforce, there were no opportunities for us to return home and utilize our education.

Those of us who did had just used Cass County as a base to go off to South Bend, St. Joseph, or Kalamazoo for work.

I feel that Leon Anderson Jr. has the experience as a local business owner and the working knowledge of county government to find opportunities to bring smart and good paying jobs into Cass County. Please vote for Leon Anderson Jr. for Cass County Commissioner District 7 on Nov. 8.
