The winter season is approaching which means the annual Fernwood Holiday Market is here.

People can get a sneak peek of the art, food and other items offered at the ninth annual Holiday Market Preview Party from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4 at 13988 Range Line Road, Niles.

Guests can enjoy food and drinks with friends while browsing a blend of local artisans, specialty food vendors, growers of unique and artful plant material and more.

Organizers say a silent auction will offer additional temptations during the event, and the evening features an exclusive opportunity to meet and shop from unique vendors.

In keeping with Fernwood’s tradition of creating wreaths for the holidays, shoppers also may place orders for wreaths to be picked up at their convenience.

Registration is now open. Those interested should register online or by phone by Nov. 3. Tickets are $40 for one or $75 per couple.

If the preview party is missed or there more time is needed to select gifts, the market will open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 5 at Fernwood.

People can browse and purchase unique jewelry, handmade kitchen items, one-of-a-kind ornaments and stuffed animals, clay whistles and pottery, hand-crafted baskets, lavender products and specialty plants, beautiful textiles, original art and cards, a vast assortment of unique food items, and much more at Fernwood’s annual Holiday Market.

With a variety of nearly 20 vendors, organizers say holiday shoppers will not want to miss out on this event. Admission is free. Visit Fernwood’s website for a list of all vendors and items.

Fernwood is a special place where nature blends with gardens and art to create an experience of wonder for all ages. Fernwood comprises 105 acres on the St. Joseph River near Buchanan, Michigan, at 13988 Range Line Road, Niles.
