The election is fast approaching and I feel that I need to make my support of Scott Teter for Circuit Court Judge in Cass County known.

Scott and I were in the same 4-H club together back in the 1970s where we first met. Scott was also a couple of years behind me in school where we were also friends.

Scott is one of the most hard working, honest people that I know. He lives in Edwardsburg and has worked out of Lansing for the last 13 years. Some of the things that Scott has accomplished at the state level has been amazing. Going after medicare fraud and dead beat dads just to name a few. I know for a fact that when you ask Scott a question concerning the law, he does not voice his personal opinion first, always that of the courts.

Scott and Susan have raised three children that went to Edwardsburg Schools and that I was fortunate enough to have in my 4-H club, the same club that Scott and I were in together back in the ‘70s. Scott and Susan instilled the values of honesty, integrity and the value of hard work in their children. Scott and Susan remain dedicated to their family, faith and friends to this day.

Scott sponsors High Point Trophies at the Cass Count y Fair in the light horse program. Every year on Saturday, Scott takes the time out of his busy schedule to make sure that he is there at the Cass Fair to present these High Point Awards to the winners.

I truly hope that the voters in Cass County realize what a true “gem” Scott Teter is and that he will be the best man for the job of Circuit Court Judge in Cass County. We can all look forward to someone who will be neutral going into court, listen attentively to both sides of the issue and rule honestly.
