I have been a member of this community much of my life and have had the privilege and pleasure of serving many of this community both as a physician and as a member of several service clubs.

I have known Mark Herman for nearly 30 years and have seen his dedication and commitment to the people of Cass County, not only as a competent attorney of more than 30 years but also as a tireless volunteer for the many organizations, including Rotary, the Chamber of Commerce, Dogwood Fine Arts Festival, Council on Aging, Woodlands Behavioral Healthcare, and the Cass County Youth Council, to name just a few.

He has dedicated himself to serving this community, while asking nothing in return. You will find few, if any, individuals who have dedicated the time and effort he has to making your lives better within this community.

For his efforts he was named the Michigan Children’s Trust Fund State Volunteer of the Year in 2003. He has served Cass County with distinction and has helped make our community a better place to call home.
