I am writing this letter in support of Nick Shelton who is running for Niles City Mayor because I want the very best for Niles.
I am a lifelong resident of Niles, served on the city council, worked on many committees and with many organizations and feel I know this community pretty well.
I have only known Nick for a few months and I have learned a lot of good things about him. He is well educated, well spoken and has an amazing work ethic and is well mannered. He has a passion for Niles and the surrounding area. He is a good listener and respects the opinions of others . He knows that he doesn’t have all the answers to the challenges facing our town but he does know that by people working together we can find them. His passion has also sparked an interest in Niles in young people, the very people that have the energy and enthusiasm to bring about change and lead our city in the future.
I am very excited to cast my vote for Nick Shelton on Nov. 8, a vote for a brighter future.
