Crystal Maynard and Stephen Valentine of Niles are the parents of a son, Daniel Blake Valentine. He was born at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 27, 2016.

He weighed 5 pounds,14 ounces and was 18 1/2 inches long.

His siblings are: sister, Noelle Motuelle, 23, and brothers, Raymond Maynard, 9, and Kenneth Maynard, 6.

 

Rothwell

Matt and Phoebe Rothwell of Buchanan are the parents of a son, Jonah Joseph Rothwell, born 2:02 p.m., Aug. 29, 2016.

He weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long. He has one sibling: Silas Rothwell, 1.

Maternal grandparents are Todd and Jacqui Hill and Bill and Pam Rothwell, all of Niles.

 

McCuddy-Kirby

Ryan McCuddy and Kayla Kirby of Dowagiac are the parents of a daughter, born Sept. 6, 2016, at Lakeland-Niles.

She weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces. The McCuddys have one son, Carter McCuddy, 1. The maternal grandparents are Michele Spangler of Paw Paw.

The paternal grandparents are Deborah and Stan McCuddy of Dowagiac. The maternal great-grandparents are Betty Spangler of Paw Paw.

The paternal great-grandparents are Karen and Harlen McCuddy of Dowagiac.

 

Ryan

Joseph and Merry Ryan of Edwardsburg are the parents of a daughter, Penelope Joy, born Sept. 8, 2016, at Lakeland-Niles.

They are also the parents of two sons and two daughters: Kitana, 13; George, 11; Benjamin, 3 and Rosy, 1.

Maternal grandparents are Steve and Lucy Kesler of Nappanee, Indiana. Paternal grandparents are Steve and Shelly Ryan of LaGrange, Indiana and Karen Ryan of Edwardsburg.

Maternal great-grandparents are Edna Krull of Goshen, Indiana.

 

Boone

Branden Boone and Joann Boone of Galien are the parents of Hank Wyatt, born Sept. 9, 2016, at Lakeland-Niles.

Hank weighed 8 pounds, 7 ounces.

The Boones are the parents of one son: Avery, 4. Maternal grandparents are Jerry and Cathy Norris of Galien.

Paternal grandparents are Todd and Melissa Boone of Sawyer.
