Ruth Hood, Licensed Master’s Social Worker, has joined the staff of Cassopolis Family Clinic Network.

Hood, originally of Sioux City, Iowa, received her associate’s in arts degree from Southwestern Michigan College in Dowagiac and a bachelor’s of science and master’s of social work degrees from Andrews University in Berrien Springs. Prior to her employment at CFCN, Hood was a behavioral health case manager in Waterford, Michigan.

“My favorite aspect of behavioral health is its emphasis of holistic healthcare, the combination of behavioral healthcare and primary care, resulting in the integration of the whole person,” Hood said. “I look forward to working at CFCN and the ability to help people find a better quality of life.”

Hood will provide behavioral health services at Niles Community Health Center. NCHC is located at 24 North St. Joseph Ave., Suite G, Niles, across from Lakeland Hospital — Niles and offers primary care, behavioral health, and Medicaid/healthcare enrollment services.
