PAW PAW — Otsego swept the top five spots in the girls race to win the Paw Paw Harvest Festival Invitational Tuesday.

The Bulldogs scored 15 points to easily outdistance runner-up Lakeshore, which finished with 86 points.

Niles finished fourth with 130 points. Dowagiac was 11th with 300 points.

Megan Alberts of Otsego was the top finisher with a time of 19:11.

The Vikings’ Taylor Altergott was eighth overall with a time of 21:50.

Dowagiac was led by Emily Dodd’s 33rd place finish and time of 24:57.

Otsego also won the boys portion of the invitational as it finished with 86 points.

Niles was eighth with 185 points and Dowagiac 11th with 239 points.

Alex Comerford of Otsego was the top boys finisher with a time of 16:42.

The Vikings’ Devon Tomlison finished ninth with a time of 18:41.

Dowagiac’s Kaleb Detwiler finished 13th with a time of 19:31.
