Edwardsburg blanks Allegan 43-0

Nick Bradley rushed for 116 yards and scored three touchdowns as Edwardsburg blanked visiting Allegan 43-0 in the season and Wolverine Conference opener for both schools Thursday night.

The Eddies (1-0) rushed for 217 yards and threw for another 153 yards against the Tigers, who finished with just 97 yards of total offense.

Bradley scored on runs of 69, 23 and 24 yards.

Cameron Ekanayake and Matthew Helper were both 2-for-2 for 108 and 45 yards respectively.

Austin Cline caught one pass for 77 yards and a touchdown.

Also scoring for the Eddies were Chase Tarwacki on a 45-yard interception return and Devin Pulling on a 6-yard run.

Cline, Cullen McIntee and John Willard all had six tackles for Edwardsburg, which also got six tackles from Tarwacki and Kyle Shrider.

The Eddies travel to Vicksburg, a 17-7 winner over Dowagiac, Thursday night.
