THREE RIVERS — Taylor Altergott led the Niles girls cross country team to a third place finish at the Big Hill Invitational in Three Rivers Tuesday.

Altergott finished fourth overall with a time of 22:57.

The Vikings finished behind champion Marshall and runner-up Battle Creek Lakeview.

The Niles boys cross country team placed eighth overall.

Devin Tomlinson was fifth individually with a time of 18:52.
