Niles soccer 3-0 following win at South Haven

SOUTH HAVEN — The Niles soccer team remained undefeated with a 4-2 win over host South Haven Monday.

The Vikings and Rams were deadlocked at 1-1 after the first 40 minutes.

Niles gave up a goal to Diego Calderon in the second minute, but responded quickly with a goal from Bryant Echeverria in the third minute off an assist from Jose Magana.

Ben Florkowski scored the game-winning goal in the 47th minute, while Conner Amberg and Cooper Hullinger also found the back of the net in the second half.

Quinn Johnson scored the final goal of the match for South Haven.

Trey Scott had six saves for the Vikings, who are now 3-0 on the year.
