BATTLE CREEK — The Niles golf team finished 12th at the season-opening Battle Creek Lakeview Invitational Friday.

The Vikings shot 432 as a team.

Aynslee Myer led Niles with an 18-hole total of 96.

Elizabeth Clark shot 104, Katie Bruckner 112, Caitlin Daly 120, Skyler Brawley 128 and Brooke Timm 156.

The Vikings are back in action Wednesday as they compete in the SMAC Tournament at Stonehedge North in Richland.
