On Aug. 2, Cass County residents will have the opportunity to vote on the millage for the Cass County COA.

My hope is that you will join me in voting “yes” that day.

The COA’s services are vital for many older adults in our community, including here in Dowagiac.

Services like in-home care, Meals on Wheels, adult day service, and medical transport to out of county appointments are critical. Often, these services make the key difference in allowing seniors to stay in their homes instead of going into a nursing home.

More and more Cass County residents are reaching retirement age, and the demand for these services is growing rapidly.

Make your vote count and help keep the COA’s programs going.

Vote “yes” on Aug. 2 and tell your friends and family to do the same.
