How long have you been volunteering?

This is my third year doing Summer My Way and 1 1/2 years of Y club during the school year.

Why do you choose to volunteer?

I find it fun to volunteer, just something different that not a lot of people do.

What is your favorite part of volunteering?

Helping the kids doing different crafts because it’s fun for the kids and fun for me.

What have you learned/how do you think volunteering has impacted your life?

I learned different ways to talk to people and to give them patience. Just talking to people has impacted my life by learning how to talk to people differently and how to deal with different situations.

Why do you think it is important to volunteer?

It’s important to volunteer because it could help you in the future for different career paths. If you want to do something with people you can learn different skills and get the job easier.
