Summer open field/scrimmages begin today for the Dowagiac middle and high school soccer team.

Open field/scrimmages will be held will be held every from 6 to 8 p.m. every Wednesday and Sunday through July 31 at the high school.

A middle school soccer camp/tryouts forth sixth through eighth grade will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Aug. 8 through Aug. 11 at the high school. All boys interested in playing soccer in the fall are expected to be there.

The camp will also be used as a tryout for middle school fall soccer.

A high school camp, workout and tryouts for grades 9-12, will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. Aug. 8 through Aug. 12. All boys interested in playing soccer in the fall are expected to be there.

This camp will also be used as a tryout for high school fall soccer.

All participants must have a physical on record in the athletic department or bring it to the camp.

Cost is $10, which goes toward the purchase of a t-shirt.

Participants need to bring running shoes, cleats, shin guards and water bottle.
