“We had a great turnout last year and the year before,” Betty Lloyd, of Plym Park Golf Course said. “I am hoping we get as many people involved in it again this year. The guys have been working hard and the course looks really, really good. It is in great condition.”

Last year, Paul Krause captured his second Niles City Golf Tournament championship as he shot 160 to best Mike Brown and Josh Townsley, who both finished two strokes back at 162.

Vanessa Rudlaff shot 211 to defeat Rose Prenkert (214) for the women’s city title.

Tom Mollison won the Senior Men’s championship, while Ed Meyer won the Super Seniors crown.

Other flight champions were:

Lloyd said that volunteers are needed to help work the tournament, including scorekeepers and a starter.
