Lakeshore, Portage Central and Portage Northern each had four players named first team on the SMAC All-West Division softball team, which was announced recently.

Niles had two first team selections and a pair of honorable mention picks.

Brooke Timm and Caitlin Daly both were named to the first team.

Timm hit .383 with 11 doubles, a triple, a home run and 23 RBIs. In the circle she was 9-17 with an ERA of 4.676. She struck out 90 in 167.2 innings pitched.

Daly hit .351 with six doubles, two triples and 16 RBIs.
