Bobcats, Bucks earn BCS All-Division honors

The Buchanan Bucks, who finished second in the BCS Athletic Conference Blue Division, had three players named first team all-division.

Brandywine had a pair of players earn all-division status.

Jarrett Thomas, Chad Adkerson and Brcye Vineyard were all first team selections for the Bucks, while Hunter Janowiak and Cole Searles were selected for the Bobcats.

Thomas was 8-3 for the Bucks with an ERA of 2.1. He struck out 59 in 60 innings.

Adkerson hit .390 with four doubles, two triples, a home run and 15 RBIs.

Vineyard hit .372 with six doubles, 10 RBIs and 20 stolen bases.

Janowiak, who was also named Division 3 All-Region, hit .415 with 11 doubles, a home run and 28 RBIs.

Searles, also an all-region selection, hit .360 with eight doubles, four triples, a home run and 24 RBIs.
