Eddies dominated All-Wolverine Conference team

Wolverine Conference champion Edwardsburg dominated the all-league team, which was announced Friday.
The Eddies went 15-3 in winning the conference championship for the second year in a row.
Named to the first team for Edwardsburg were Damion Pompey, Joe Raab, Zach Priebe and Chris Griffin.
Pompey hit .330 for the Eddies with five doubles, a home run, 20 RBIs and 28 runs scored. Griffin hit .329 with 10 doubles, a home run and 21 RBIs.
Raab was 6- with a 2.463 ERA. He struck out 82 batters in 54 innings of work. Priebe was 6-1 with an ERA of 2.769. He struck out 44 batters in 45.2 innings.
A.J. Gaideski was named Coach of the Year.
Second team honors went to Mason Mitchell and Zach Plummer.
Ben Robertson was an honorable mention selection.
Dowagiac had two players named all-conference.
Brenden Dudley was a first team selection, while Mack Charles was named to the honorable mention portion of the squad.
Dudley hit .418 for the Chieftains with 13 doubles, 26 RBIs and six stolen bases.
