I am writing today to give my support and endorsement to candidate Nick Shelton for the 2016 City of Niles mayoral race.

As a lifelong resident, Niles High School graduate, social and economic contributor, taxpayer and believer in what this city can accomplish, I have put my full faith and confidence in what a new leader like Nick can bring to our community.

I was drawn to the campaign by the initial promise of Mr. Shelton being the voice of the people, and for his take on bringing a renewed perspective to the City of Niles as a whole.

Having a leader that is for the people is paramount in guiding our steps in the goals that many of the residents of Niles have come to expect from the governing bodies.

Nick is no stranger to the Niles community, as he has been the face of several established and successful endeavors locally.

Being a part of the Shelton’s Farm family lends credence to the lasting effects of hard work and dedication that can come from being a constant presence in the city. Developing people’s mindsets in the ways of personal health and fitness has spread his name beyond the confines of his family’s business. He has shown constant leadership in all endeavors and an ability to meet and deal with people directly where they are.

Maintaining better city structures and roadways, caring for the neighborhoods so we can take pride in our communities, fresh ideas for prime locations to not only enhance the aesthetic nature, but also to attract outside revenue to the charms of the city and a strong focus on the true needs of its people make Nick my pick for this year’s City of Niles mayor election.
