The sisters of Xi Delta Mu did their part to make sure that the residents of the Timbers of Cass County remained warm during this recent cold snap. On Friday, members Mary Smith and Pat Franz delivered 16 blankets, sewn by members of the local Beta Sigma Phi chapter, to the local nursing and rehabilitation center. This is the second time the sorority has made blankets to assist local seniors — two years ago they made a similar donation to Forest Glen Assisted Living.
