Amber Michelle Franchini, 34, of Dowagiac, Michigan passed away Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2016, at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo.

A Celebration of Life Service will be on Sunday, Jan. 10, 2016, at 3 p.m. at Clark Chapel & Cremation Services, 405 Center Street, Dowagiac, Michigan. Friends may visit with the family before the service from 2 to 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her sister, Amy Fagerli, for the care of Amber’s children. Amber was born on Oct. 21, 1981, in Dowagiac, Michigan to Dale A. Morford and Dawn L. (Leason) Beck. Amber had a very funny sense of humor, sharing funny stories and practical jokes. She was a wonderful mother and loved her children more than anything. She taught her children how to find the good things in any situation. She loved to laugh and did whatever it took to make her children smile, laugh and be filled with joy. Amber had many friends and was well liked. She was warm hearted, full of love and a very giving, selfless woman.

Amber is survived by her parents Dale (Connie Boudreau) and Dawn (Gregory) Beck of Tennessee, three children, two sons and one daughter; Kyle Ortegel, Aidan Morford and Emily Atkins, all of Dowagiac. She also leaves behind one sister, Amy (Odd-Arne) Fagerli of Granger, Indiana and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
