Charlotte Espick

She was born Sept. 24, 1941, to the late Corley and Sallie (Deloach) Brantley in Valdosta, Georgia. Charlotte graduated from Valdosta High School and later went on to marry the love of her life, Ronald L. Espick on November 25, 1960.

While Charlotte left the South, the South did not leave her; many will remember her as an easy going person who enjoyed sitting on her front porch, swinging. Charlotte was an avid reader, especially of Steven King books and loved abstract painting.

Charlotte leaves to cherish her memory to her husband of 55 years, Ronald Espick, three sons, Donny (Tracie), David (Diana) and Shane (Cheryl) Espick, sister, Nita Mae Weeks, four grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Corley and Sallie Brantley, three brothers; Milton, Ronnie and Ralph Brantley, four sisters; Inez Lee, Melba Williams, Martha Ann Jones and Ava Nell Riggs.

Memorial contributions may be made in Charlotte’s memory to St. Judes Children’s Research Center or to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan 222 N. Kalamazoo Mall #100, Kalamazoo, MI 49007.

Funeral services will be held at Mission Hills Memorial Chapel on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015 at 11 a.m. with a time for family and friends to gather an hour prior.
