STEVENSVILLE — Host Lakeshore outrushed Niles 376-43 on its way to a 52-19 SMAC West Division victory, which earned the Lancers a spot in the state playoffs Friday night.

Lakeshore (6-3) outscored the Vikings (2-7) 27-0 in the first quarter and never looked back. The Lancers led 29-7 at halftime.

Niles did finish the night with 267 yards passing as Alex Harpenau was 29-of-48 with three touchdown passes to Tre Gray and a pair of interceptions.

Gray had touchdown receptions of 10, 5 and 4 yards.
