Brandywine’s Harrell first team all-division

BERRIEN SPRINGS — James Harrell of Brandywine earned first team all-division in the BCS Athletic Conference Tuesday.
Harrell finished fifth in the jamboree hosted by Berrien Springs with a time of 17:30. Harrell’s finish was not counted toward a team total since the Bobcats do not field a full squad.
This is the fourth straight year that Harrell has earned all-conference honors.
Bridgman easily won the boys face with 40 points, while Mendon was second with 51.
Joshua Youngs finished 38th with a time of 20:05.
Buchanan’s top finisher was Garret Loller, who was 39th with a time of 20:11.
Brandywine’s Juelianna Zimmerman was second team all-division after finishing 12th with a time of 23:28 Tuesday.
Bridgman also captured the girls race with 44 points. Mendon was second with 52 and Buchanan third with 62.
The Bucks’ top finisher was Emily Riley, who was sixth with a time of 22:34. Brooke Wesner was seventh and Sam Swartz ninth with times of 22:35 and 22:40 respectively.
