EAU CLAIRE — Visiting Lake Michigan Catholic edged Dowagiac 209-228 in girls golf Monday.

It was the final tune up for the Chieftains for Thursday’s Division 3 regional at HawksHead in South Haven.

The Lakers’ Ellen Nuter shot 49 to earn medalist honors at Indian Lake Hills Golf Course.

Dowagiac was led by Alyssa Allen’s 53.

Lake Michigan Catholic played seven players and Dowagiac eight players. The final score was decided by top four individual results.
