Brandywine tennis tops Dowagiac in tune up for regionals

Dowagiac and visiting Brandywine warmed up for Thursday’s Division 4 Regional with a non-conference tennis match Tuesday.

The Bobcats (10-2) defeated the Chieftains 7-1.

Dowagiac’s lone victory came at No. 1 doubles where David Brogan and Mitch Warsko defeated Tyler Mott and Nathan Sachman in straight sets.

The best match of the day was at No. 2 singles where Brandywine’s Mark Conrad defeated Dowagiac’s Ethan Wagner 6-4, 6-7 and 6-3.
