THREE RIVERS — The Dowagiac golf team finished eighth at the Wolverine Conference jamboree hosted by Three Rivers Thursday.

Sturgis took home team honors with a 187. Plainwell was second with a 203 and Otsego third with a 205.

Plainwell remains atop the conference standings with 38 points. Sturgis closed the gap to three points (35), while Otsego is third with 32 points.

Jessica Griffioen was the medalist at Sauganah Golf Club with a 37.

Dowagiac was led by senior Kelsey Smith’s 52.
