Eddies win Niles Invitational

Edwardsburg edged the host Vikings to win the Niles Invitational Friday.

The Eddies finished with 40 point, while Niles was second with 37 and Brandywine third with 34. Three Rivers (20), Dowagiac (12) and Buchanan (10) rounded out the field.

Winning championships for the Eddies were Jacob Ganus and Zayne Neumman at No. 1 doubles and Tom Mackling and Alex Shellhammer at No. 4 doubles.

Niles earned championship at No. 1 doubles with Derek Brown and Matt Lee and No. 3 doubles with Chad Barton and Ben Lovett.

The Bobcats won three out of the four singles flights as Mark Conrad (No. 2), Cole Searles (No. 3) and Caleb Cole (No.4) were all champions.
