PLAINWELL — The Dowagiac golf team finished eighth in both Wolverine Conference jamborees held at Lake Doster Golf Club Thursday.

The league played the front nine for the Plainwell jamboree with the host Trojans taking first place with 196 points.

Otsego was second with 199, while Dowagiac finished with a team score of 276.

Plainwell’s Maddie Tran took medalist honors with a 37.

Kelsey Smith led the Chieftains with a 57.

The league played the back nine for the Otsego jamboree with Sturgis winning with a score of 206. Plainwell was second with a 211. Dowagiac shot 262 as a team.

Kassie Green of Otsego was medalist with a round of 44.

Smith paced Dowagiac once again as she shot 54.
