The Piecemakers Quilt Guild of Niles will display more than 100 quilts at their guild show, A Kaleidoscope of Color, on Sept. 12-13.
The show will be held at the Brandywine Elementary School, 2428 S. 13th St. in Niles, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, and from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 13.
This year’s show will highlight quilt artist Gale Polk of Grand Beach. Polk is known for her impeccable applique quilts.
Attendees will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite quilts in several categories, shop at the member boutique and bid on small quilts in the
silent auction.
Area quilt shops will be selling fabric and notions as well as providing door prizes. Tickets for a guild raffle quilt and the area Habitat for Humanity Quilt, both made by guild members, will also be on sale.
Admission is $5.
