Voters narrowly approved the Cassopolis Public Schools bond proposal Tuesday.
Voters passed the $3.3 million proposal 214-198.
The district plans to use the money to make repairs to buildings, especially Ross Beatty Jr./Sr. High School, upgrade technology and replace the track at William F. Scott Field.
Ranger athletes have not had a track meet in two years due to the condition of the running surface.
LaGrange was the only township to pass the bond issue with a 108 voters casting yes votes compared to 66 no votes.
That margin proved to be the difference as Calvin (39-28), Jefferson (35-29) and Penn (58-49) townships all voted against the proposal.
