ST. JOSEPH — The Brandywine softball team swept a pair of BCS Athletic Conference games from host Lake Michigan Catholic Wednesday.

The Bobcats defeated the Lakers 6-4 and 15-1. The second game lasted just five innings.

In the opening, Araylnn Lasane went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs to lead the Bobcats.

Hannah Hadden scatted nine hits to earn the victory.

In the nightcap, Justin Slater singled, doubled and drove in five runs for Brandywine, which also got a double from Kelly Harper.

Michaela Hartline had a pair of hits and four RBIs, while Sydney Carlson went 3-for-3.

Morgan Crocker tossed a three-hitter in earning the win.
