Cassopolis looking to move sixth grade to Ross Beatty

The Cassopolis Board of Education and school administrators are considering moving the sixth-grade students to Ross Beatty Jr./Sr. High School next year.

The administration is currently working on projecting enrollment and staffing for the next school year.

Leaders in favor of the move say he move would help utilize staff, space, improve curriculum and instruction in the district.

The board and administration will hold a meeting seeking input from the community on this possible move and its implications.

The community is invited to attend the meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the Sam Adams Elementary cafeteria.
