Dominique Thomas and Corel Carmichael each had two goals and an assist as visiting Edwardsburg blanked Edwardsburg 8-0 in non-conference soccer Monday.

The Bears (2-0) scored five first half goals, including one each by Carmichael and Thomas.

Carmichael and Thomas both scored a goal in the second half, while Aneesha Jain’s score in the 53rd minute ended the match due to the mercy rule.

St. Joseph outshot Edwardsburg 17-1.

Hailee Hebard had 17 saves for the Eddies, who drop to 2-1.
