The Brandywine tennis team blanked a pair of opponents in its first outdoor competition of the season at Plym Park Wednesday.

The Bobcats swept cross-town rival Niles 8-0, winning all eight flights in straight sets.

Brandywine then defeated Eau Claire in a non-league match 8-0. The two teams played pro sets in the second match in order to get it finished.

“As a team, we played really well,” Brandywine coach Joe Marazita said. “Katie (Rose) and Krystal (Bunch) just cruised and Emily’s (Erwin) ground strokes were very consistent. A solid performance by all eight flights.”
