Brandywine splits pair of matches in regular season finale

MENDON — The Brandywine wrestling team wrapped up the regular season with a split at Mendon Wednesday.

The Bobcats were defeated by the host Hornets 48-21, but rebounded to beat White Pigeon 51-26 in BCS Athletic Conference action.
Winning two matches for the Bobcats were Michael Kachur (103), Kaci Lintz (125), Sam Burge (152) and Charlie Rodriguez (189).
Brandywine will host the inaugural BCS tournament Saturday.
