Bridgman rallies to beat Bobcats

BRIDGMAN — It is a story all too familiar to Brandywine boys basketball fans.

The Bobcats led host Bridgman by 10 points heading into the fourth quarter, but was unable to hold off the Bees’ rally.

Bridgman outscored Brandywine 31-8 in the fourth quarter to earn a 63-50 BCS Athletic Conference non-divisional victory Friday night.

The Bobcats led at each of the first three breaks — 17-5 after one; 29-22 at halftime and 42-32 after three quarters.

Behind the play of Nick Knowlton, who scored a game-high 38 points, the Bees rallied for the victory.

Austin Knapp led Brandywine with 16 points, while Andrew Duckett scored 10 points before fouling out.
