A rollover accident in Cass County resulted in injuries to a 21-year-old Cassopolis resident.

Cindie Szalay was taken by Air Care to South Bend Memorial Hospital for treatment after she lost control of her vehicle on the icy roadway on Calvin Center Road in Mason Township at 10:30 p.m. Thursday, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Department.

The vehicle went off the roadway and overturned.

The driver was wearing her seat belt and alcohol was not a factor in the accident.

Porter Township Fire Department and Edwardsburg Ambulance assisted deputies at the accident scene.

This incident remains under investigation.
