Upton holds on to share of lead

It was another tough weekend for the Niles Daily Star Football Forecasters.

Only two forecasters — Niles Daily Star Managing Editor Ambrosia Neldon and Niles Daily Star Publisher Michael Caldwell had winning records.

The finished with identical 6-4 marks.

Five forecasters were 5-5, while a pair were 4-6 and one was even 3-7.

Daily Star Sports Editor Scott Novak and Niles Athletic Director Jeff Upton remained tied at the top at 84-36.

Brandywine Superintendent John Jarpe is third at 82-38, while Allison Hayes of the Big Ten Network is fourth at 80-40.

There are more tough games ahead for the forecasters including USC at UCLA, Minnesota at Nebraska, Mississippi at Arkansas, Arizona at Utah and Oklahoma State at Baylor.
