SOUTH HAVEN — A pair of Trojans slugged it out at the Wolverine Conference golf jamboree at HawksHead Monday.

Plainwell edged Sturgis 181-189 in their back-and-forth battle for first place.

Vicksburg finished third with a 207 and Dowagiac was eighth after shooting 234.

Plainwell’s Maddie Tran earned medalist honors with a round of 39.

Dowagiac was led by Kelsey Smith, who tied for 10th after shooting 51.
