‘The Pale Pink Dragon’ at Barn Swallow Aug. 7-10

Barn Swallow Theatre will present the children’s play and musical “The Pale Pink Dragon” at on 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 7-9 and at 2 p.m. on Aug. 10.

All performances will be at the theater, located at 22334 US-12 East of Edwardsburg.

The story begins with the Kingdom of Caladar in a serious uproar. Their Princess Pinkie has disappeared and a dragon lurks in the forest and it is presumed that he has devoured the Princess. Gallant Prince Hal, his bumbling squire, Edward, King Clement and a host of townspeople set out to find and destroy the dragon.

Then, the plot thickens and with dozens of charming songs, surprising twists and turns.

Come to one of the performances and see how the over a dozen Michiana area young people, ages 7 to 14, bring this suspenseful play to a surprising conclusion.
