The Cassopolis Board of Education hired a new band director at its regular meeting at Squires Education Center Monday night.

Adam Noaeill was hired as the new band and choir director/teacher.

He replaces Ellizar Abalos, who resigned.

Former Niles standout Demi Schrader was hired as the new seventh grade volleyball coach.

The next board meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Aug. 11.
