Perfect weather once again greeted the teams taking part in the Lee Memorial Foundation’s 10th annual golf outing at Spruce Ridge Golf Club Friday.

A total of 30 teams took part in the event, which helps raise money that the foundation uses for hospital improvements.

Last year, the outing raised $17,000, which was used to purchase advanced digital mammography equipment.

Money raised as this year’s outing will help with renovations to the entrance and patience services area of the hospital.

The team from Eckman Chiropractic repeated as champions Friday.

And for the second straight year, the team shot 55.

The team consisted of Marc Weller, Scott Nate, Dave Ickes and Jim Eckman.

“We had a great turnout,” Beth Cripe of the Lee Foundation said. “We have great support. People continue to come back and we are very appreciative of that. We are also very appreciative of our major sponsors who continue to give us their support.”
