Brandywine goes 2-1 at Comstock Invitational

COMSTOCK — The Brandywine softball team went 2-1 at the Comstock Invitational Saturday.

The Bobcats opened with a 3-0 win over host Comstock before falling to former Lakeland Conference foe Coloma 17-4.

The loss was the first of the season for 4-1 Brandywine.

The Bobcats bounced right back and edged Parchment 5-4.

Justine Sater had a double in all three games for Brandywine, which also got a pair of doubles and a triple from Michaela Hartline.

MaKenna Hartline picked up a double and a home run on the day for the Bobcats.

Kelly Harper was 2-1 in the circle for Brandywine.
