Host Buchanan outscored South Haven 51-46 to earn a 65-60 non-conference boys basketball victory Tuesday night.

The Bucks (13-6) and Rams (13-4) were deadlocked at 14-14 after one period of play.

Buchanan opened up a 34-29 halftime lead and led 46-39 heading to the fourth quarter.

Doug Freeman had a game-high 38 points for Buchanan. Dustin Gray finished with 12 points.

Keylonte Gaines led South Haven with 14 points.
